This class is a good start for someone who needs familiarity with Part 90 licensing such as a brand new radio dealer sales person, or a business employee who has been given responsibility over managing licenses for their business. This class provides a very brief introduction to radio spectrum and how it is regulated, the coordination and licensing process, as well as a non-technical overview of basic radio systems and how they are licensed. This class will primarily address UHF and VHF spectrum, but will also touch on low-band VHF, 800, and 900 MHz as they related to Part 90 licensing.
Upon completion, someone taking this class should walk away with a general understanding of the licensing process, as well as how to read a license, and what responsibilities a license-holder has.
